It looks like an historic house scheduled for demolition has been re-slated for renovation! I heard that Habitat for Humanity will invest $70k to fix it up.

Mighty applause to neighborhood residents, our councilperson, Habitat and the city of Nashville that made this happen.

Tonight at 6:30pm there’s a neighborhood potluck dinner at McFerrin Park Community Center located at 310 Grace Street. There will likely be a meeting as well (there was last year), but there will also be food! So bring a yummy dish and come on out and meet and mingle with neighbors!

    Lots of cops on Arrington

Monday night about 20 police, fire, and medical vehicles showed up Arrington at 10:45pm.  I thought it must have been a planned sting/bust/round-up.  Turns out it was a tail-light stop on a pickup truck, that turned out to be a man with a warrant who caught an officer in the door and dragged him 90 feet!
